Amazon has a new shopping tool and I can’t stop using it

Everyone knows that Amazon is the best place to go when you need a new computer, smartphone accessory, tablet, smart home device or just about any other gadget you can think of. The reasons are obvious — you get fast free shipping when you subscribe to Prime, Amazon’s prices are often far lower than you’ll find in stores, and you typically don’t have to pay sales tax so you save even more money. But Amazon sells items across hundreds of categories, not just consumer electronics, and it’s time to check out Amazon’s new shopping tool that has me addicted.

Aptly named “Shop by Room,” this awesome new Amazon tool lets you do just that. When you visit the main page of the site you’re presented with a nice grid labeled with each room in your house. Looking for some new flatware to spice up your dining experience? Choose dining room and start browsing. Tired of sleeping on those ratty old linens? Click on bedroom and check out the seemingly infinite new options out there.

Shop by Room is perfect for when you want to browse around and get some great ideas as you’re decorating, and I highly recommend checking it out.
