Stranger Things

might be the talk of the town right now, but it’s not the only hot Netflix show worth watching. Narcos is another original Netflix series that’s been getting a lot of attention, and the streaming giant has just renewed it for not one but two more seasons. Even more good news: a trailer for season 3 is already available. Careful though, because some spoilers may follow below.

Pablo Escobar may have met his maker at the end of season 2, but that’s not stopping Netflix from continuing the series. After all, it’s called Narcos, not Pablo Escobar.

“I think that there’s a lot of story left to be told in Colombia,” executive producer Eric Newman told Entertainment Weekly.

“[This] show has always been about cocaine, Newman said. “We purposely did not call the show Pablo Escobar or Medellin … If somebody wants another season of the show, we would sit down and draw from the pretty massive amount of real estate and research that we’ve done and do something kind of cool.”

Meanwhile, Netflix already posted a trailer for Narcos season 3 on its YouTube channel, teasing a 2017 release date. Yes, you still have to wait for more cocaine stories… after all, “the blow must go on.” The trailer shows Pablo Escobar fading in the background, as he’s replaced by a new drug lord. Consider our interest thoroughly piqued!
