Here’s some great news for everyone anxiously awaiting the next-generation Apple Watch and some potentially great news for anyone who wants a cheaper, smaller version of the iPhone. 9to5Mac‘s Mark Gurman is reporting that Apple is planning to have a major press event in March in which it will show off its second-generation Apple Watch and possibly its iPhone 6c.

Gurman’s sources say that the plan is unveil the Apple Watch 2 in March and then have it go on sale in April. Gurman says it’s possible that the new watch will include “new camera, wireless, sleep tracking, and health sensor technologies” but his sources haven’t been able to nail down anything in this regard yet.
As for the iPhone 6c, Gurman isn’t certain whether it will debut at the March event but he does confirm the company has been working on it. Previous reports have revealed that the iPhone 6c will feature a four-inch display like the iPhone 5c but that it will also feature a metal build and not a plastic one. It does seem that the iPhone 6c will have more color options than the regular line of flagship iPhones, however.
Earlier leaks have revealed that Apple plans to unveil the new smaller iPhone in the early part of 2016, although some rumors claimed that it would come even sooner in February.
