On Wednesday, VentureBeat shared data from the latest report from research firm Strategy Analytics, which predicts that the PlayStation 4 will outsell the Xbox One by 40% over the course of the next four years. The firm says that Sony is “on a path to reproduce the success of the PlayStation 2.”

Goodman and his partners believe that the future of cloud gaming and digital downloads will live alongside consoles rather than take their place.
