The company’s “Open” ads flaunt the ease and freedom with which developers can create applications for the Symbian Series 60-based N-Series handsets. For anyone that has been living under a rock for the past month, this is nothing less than a slap in Apple’s face, following Cupertino’s recent 1.1.1 iPhone update that has effectively locked out any and all 3rd party application development for the time being.
