Fragmentation fighters bring Apple’s 3D maps, navigation to iPhone 4 [video]

There are two sides to “fragmentation,” and while Apple’s iOS 6 software doesn’t necessarily have big negative implications for developers, users with older Apple devices will be missing out on some great new features when iOS 6 is released later this year. Gears are already turning, however, and the iOS developer community is doing its best to bring previous-generation iOS device users all the new features they can. While the hack is a bit messy for the time being, Russian website iGuides has published a guide that will allow iPhone 4 owners to use Apple’s new 3D mapping features and navigation on their phones.
