We’re still well over a month away from E3 2016, but Microsoft decided to announce its plans for the show even earlier this year. Neither Sony nor Nintendo have confirmed anything for E3 yet, but on Tuesday, Microsoft revealed that its Xbox E3 2016 Briefing would once again take place on Monday, June 13th at 9:30 a.m. PDT at the Galen Center in downtown Los Angeles.

DON’T MISS: Even Melissa McCarthy didn’t like the first ‘Ghostbusters’ trailer

As per usual, only members of the press and those in the gaming industry received invites, but Microsoft will host a live stream of the briefing on Xbox.com, the Xbox Twitch Channel, via the Xbox Live Events Player or even at your local Microsoft store. Spike TV will also broadcast the briefing at 9:30 a.m. PDT / 12:30 p.m. EDT.

If you happen to be in or around LA during E3, Microsoft is giving away 500 tickets to fans for exclusive access to the Xbox FanFest once again this year. You can check out all the rules for the contest at the Xbox E3 site. Here’s everything you’ll be able to participate in if you receive a ticket:

  • Entry into the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing on Monday, June 13th, 9:30 a.m. PDT at the Galen Center
  • A custom-built backpack filled with gaming swag
  • Play time with all-new exclusives and our biggest blockbuster games coming this holiday
  • The chance to meet some of the industry’s top developers, leaders and influencers.
  • Even more surprise events during the week.

Returning from last year is Xbox Daily: LIVE @ E3 — a daily show that will air on Twitch from 4 to 5 p.m. PDT on Tuesday and Wednesday with interviews and guest stars from around the industry.

You can also tune in for additional coverage of the show floor on the Xbox Twitch channel from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, June 15, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. PDT on Thursday, June 16.

We’re excited to see what Microsoft has in store for the Xbox One.
