For Samsung, redesigning the Galaxy S6 from the ground up seems to equate to creating a rather obvious iPhone 6 lookalike made of premium materials — at least, if recently leaked Galaxy S6 blueprints, reports from Korea, and pictures showing the alleged metal frame of the device are to be believed. Italian publication HDBlog has put those detailed metal chassis shots and schematics leaks to good use, coming up with renders that show what the next Galaxy S model may look like.

FROM EARLIER: Huge leak: Photos of the Galaxy S6 housing just leaked, and it looks like… an iPhone 6

The publication seems to have gotten most details right, apart from the camera and front sensor placements, which is shown differently in the schematics, and the bottom speaker grille that differs from the metal case pictures.

The device in the renders features a large display, which is rumored to be a 5.1-inch OLED screen with 2K resolution, and a very thin profile that, combined with the curved edges and corners, will inevitably remind you of the latest iPhones.

However, these are not official press renders, no matter how real they might seem; Samsung will unveil the final Galaxy S6 design on March 1st at MWC 2015.

In addition to the pictures in the gallery below, you can find even more renders over at HDBlog.
