T-Mobile UK gives Android Pulse PAYG love

T-Mobile UK has taken the Android love to the contract-deficient masses. The Huawei manufactured Pulse sports a 3.5″ touchscreen, 3G, WiFi, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera, and 2G of memory — not bad for a prepaid ditty. The Pulse will set you back 176 quid across the pond, that’s about $292 for those of us still using the imperial system of measurement, and is on sale today. We love the idea of a fully featured handset on a pre-paid platform — we’re hoping the trend catches on.

Hope all of this Android hitting the market is closely followed by a nice app/music experience (for when I get my Droid)

The bad news is it is locked to T-Mobile until 3-months after you buy it. Then you can pay £15 to unlock it.

Still, it is much cheaper than the alternatives. I might get one and wait 3 months…

PS: It is actually £186 – they force you to buy a £10 top-up.

I’ve heard that the Pulse is not only cheap, but a very good phone as well. Sure it dosen’t have Hero specs, but it’s got more memory and a larger screen.

Too bad it’s saddled with a sorry MSM7200A processor. What the F is the obsession with this processor? Super cheap?

    Dear Android,

Its wonderful to see you riding in all those Hondas and Toyotas. Maybe one day you’ll ride in a Cadillac. No worries, you’ll find a sugar daddy sooner or later.

    UG.

PS Yes, I saw the Droid and Sholes and they look good. More like those, less like Pulse please.

because there’s absolutely no need for cheaper Android phones.

      definitely that.
