LG slowly unveils the next generation Chocolate

General

LG released a teaser spot on its Spanish blog that partially reveals the next generation of its popular Chocolate handset. According to LG, the new Chocolate will improve usability while maintaining the style and minimalistic design of its predecessor. A handful of carefully crafted profile shots reveal this sleek, simple design — and little else. Drooling over the design and want details? You will have to wait a little longer unfortunately as additional information on this sweet handset will be forthcoming in August. Hit the jump for a few more photos.

Looks like they ditched the slider mechanism in favor of a touchscreen. Could this be the iPhone competitor they spoke of?

    cha cha cha chocolate?

    oh god not another stutter

It looks too skinny to have a touchscreen. If it had one the screen would be really long and narrow which wouldn’t work out very well. Looks like a nice design tho

Looks like that thing could do serious damage in your trouser pocket.

Is that an “Intellivision” controller? If so, where is the slot to slide in the card for different options…

i know they are trying to go for sexy, but that one pick flat out looks like a shapely ass.

  • toursux

the choclate line is about as relevent as the razr.

  • tino

the chocolates are one of the lamest group of phones to come. Im always getting calls on how these phones are either easily damaged or defected

@ tino, my 11 year old daughter has a VZW chocolate2 and has beat the crap out of it and it still works…

  • celz

lol at the guy the saying the chocolate and razr are irrelevant.. if it wasnt for those two there would be no iphone.. they proved simple overpriced fashion phones will sell like crazy with marketing.. the iphone is alot more than just that but thats what its based on from a marketing standpoint..
