Sometimes Apple releases its public iOS beta software at the same time as its developer betas, but typically there’s a one-day gap in between releases. Can you really survive and go on living for one full day with the knowledge that there is newer iOS software out there than the version you’re currently running on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch? No, you can’t and that’s why we’re going to show you just how easy it is to install iOS 10 beta 3, or any other developer beta of iOS, without the need for a $99-per-year developer account.

DON’T MISS: Does the iPhone 7 have any competition now that the Note 7 is dead?

In the old days, Apple used to keep tight wraps on its developer beta software and take steps to prevent users without developer accounts from installing the software. Since everyone would just find workarounds and install iOS betas anyway, Apple gave up and simplified the process. Now, instead of having to register your device’s IMEI in your developer account, any device with access to the developer beta profile can install iOS betas.

Only developers are supposed to have access to the aforementioned beta profile, but the video below from YouTube user iCrackUriDevice explains just how easy it is for anyone and everyone to find and install the beta profile. If you want iOS 10.1 beta 3 on your device right now — complete with Portrait Mode for the iPhone 7 Plus — check out the video and follow the instructions. We won’t link to the developer beta profile here, but you’ll find simple instructions in that video.
