Happy New Year! Now that the major holidays are past us, it’s time to start thinking about taking down all those Christmas decorations and keep them safely stored for the next 11 months. As someone whose Christmas decorations are normally messily stuffed in a box, I was pleased to discover some great tips and tricks posted over at Redfin for more efficient and orderly ways to store your Christmas decorations until the following December.

First off, if you have any spare egg cartons lying around, you should be sure to use them to store your round Christmas ornaments. This is obviously a better alternative to stuff them into a box for 11 months where they’ll get tangled up and you’ll have to waste time straightening them out.

Redfin has plenty more tips to help you better store your Christmas decorations — check them out for yourself at this link.
