The summer of Netflix originals marches onward with the debut of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, a follow-up that fans have been clamoring for since the early 2000s. Sadly, we’re going to have to wait until the end of the month before we can see the continuing adventures of these ridiculous “teenagers.”

The First Day of Camp miniseries will be a prequel to the original film, consisting of eight 30-minute episodes. It looks amazing.
Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter are all returning for the series, with Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, John Slattery and others joining in for the first time.
