Well, see, here’s the thing…we’ve been informed that all current shipments of iPhones to AT&T stores have been halted. This is to ensure that every iPhone contains the 1.1.1 firmware. Besides normally upgrading the units, which is totally par for the course, they’ve noticed a tremendous amount of people purchasing iPhones in order unlock them and resell (duh!). In order to cut this down, the maximum number of units you’re allowed to buy at a time has been lowered to three from five. The estimated time frame for iPhone restockage at AT&T stores is later this month. If you want that precious 1.02, you might have to scramble around, yet 1.1.1 is jailbreaked and SIM unlockable, so we’re not sure why you’d want to…
