Well what do we have here? It looks like a video of Verizon’s Motorola DROID X running an early alpha build of Google’s latest mobile OS iteration, Android 2.3. The software being demoed has a build number of VZW-TestKeys-280657 and baseband version BP_C_01.09.07P. As the video maker notes, Motorola’s BLUR UI is playing a much less prominent roll in this particular build. It is described as “a background service used to improve the functionality and linkage of Google Apps.” Very exciting stuff. No indication of when a non-alpha, non-beta, production ready version will be ready for public consumption… but it’s good to know Verizon and Motorola are actively working on the update. Hit the break, the video is waiting for you!

UPDATE: As several commenters have pointed out, this could be the ApeX ROM (which is skinned to look like Android 2.3) loaded onto a DROID X. We’ve reached out to the video’s creator asking for a little more concrete proof and will report back if they respond.
