Mobile-review.com
managed to get its mitts on yet another unannounced smartphone and as has become customary, the site has issued a massive and thorough preview. What’s more — since the device in question isn’t of Finnish origin, we don’t have to worry about an overly harsh review this time around. Mobile-review.com writer Martin Elm did the honors on Thursday, and the device in question is Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Vivaz sequel, appropriately named Vivaz 2. While the hardware most definitely doesn’t look like anything special — in fact, it looks very plasticky and thick — Elm had very nice things to say about this upcoming Gingerbread phone, calling it a “truly cutting edge” device. Spec highlights include a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 205 GPU, dual cameras, HD video capture (720p), an HDMI-out port, an 854 x 480-pixel Reality Display, 512MB of RAM, a hefty 1500 mAh battery and, of course, the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Sony Ericsson Vivaz 2 is expected to be announced next month at Mobile World Congress. Hit the break for more images and then be sure to hit the read link for the full preview.
