Windows PC sticks are getting more and more popular and many companies are coming up with bold designs for smartphone-sized Windows 10 computers that can replace your desktop for a fraction of the cost. While these machines might not be able to offer the kind of performance a “pro” desktop or laptop have to offer, they’re still able to meet the needs of regular consumers looking for a portable, affordable PC.

That’s what the Ockel Sirius B project is proposing: A highly compact Intel-based computer that’s currently taking Indiegogo by storm.

With 37 days to go in the campaign, the project has reached almost $110,000 in funding or 11 times its initial funding goal. The cheapest version of Serius B is priced at $149 on Indiegogo (though it has no operating system installed on it) or $169 for a Windows 10 version.

The Sirius B isn’t the only smartphone-sized PC out there, as Kangaroo is a similar $99 computer.

The Sirius is about as big as an iPhone 6s or Galaxy S6, measuring 123 x 79 x 11mm and weighing 120g, featuring an HDMI port, two USB ports, microphone and audio out and microSD support.

The device packs an Intel Atom Bay-trail quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and Intel High Definition graphics, 32GB of storage, dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0.

The Ockel team promises to ship the Sirius B computer in time for Christmas – check out more details about the ultra-portable computer in the video below and at the source link.
