The lineup of PlayStation 4-compatible wireless headsets is set to expand by two on Monday night as software update 1.60 rolls out. According to the PlayStation Blog, the latest additions to the roster are the “PULSE” and “PULSE – Elite Edition” wireless stereo headsets, both of which are capable of 7.1 virtual surround sound. The PlayStation-branded headsets also feature voice chat and preset audio modes. Sony is introducing a brand new headset to the market as well: the “Gold Wireless Stereo Headset.” The new headset offers 7.1 surround sound, voice chat and audio modes, but the Gold Wireless Headset also features a hidden noise-canceling microphone and customizable faceplates. The new headset will launch in early February for $99.99. Check out a video showcasing the Gold below.
