There are more photo editing apps in the iOS App Store than you could count in a day. Many of them are terrible. Many of them are terrific. If you’re looking to capture photos with your iPhone that are the highest possible quality, however, there is only one app that you need.

Perfectly Clear by app maker Athentech Imaging is an application I have been using for quite some time now, and it’s definitely the one photo editor on my iPhone that I would not and could not give up.

The app serves one purpose — to improve the quality of photos captured by your iPhone — and much of the magic happens automatically. Simply open an image in the app or capture a new photo, and Perfectly Clear instantly works wonders to improve levels, contrast, tone and much more.

The finished result is consistently better than anything the iPhone can capture on its own.

Then, for those who wish to keep tweaking a photo, there are a number of additional automatic fixes. “Fix dark,” for example, is an automatic brightening effect that can be applied to photos that are much too dark.

There are also several tweaks that can be adjusted manually, such as exposure, depth and vibrancy.

Perfectly Clear is normally a $2.99 download and it’s a bargain at twice the price. For a very limited time, however, this great app is available for free.

The sale on Perfectly Clear will end sometime on Monday, so visit the App Store link below in our source section right away.
