If you’ve been holding out on preordering any of the shiny new Android devices from Samsung, HTC and (later this month) LG in anticipation of the OnePlus Two, you might want to reconsider. Chinese-language tech blog MyDrivers reports that OnePlus might delay the launch of the next-gen device to Q4 of 2015.

According to the report, OnePlus believes that sales of the One smartphone will carry the company through the next six months. This could be interpreted to mean that the company isn’t planning to launch any new devices until closer to the end of the year.
Over the past few months, we’ve seen several leaks pertaining to the OnePlus Two, from a rumored mid-2015 release date to a full list of specifications.
Considering the difficult circumstances surrounding the launch of the OnePlus One, consumers will certainly be better off if OnePlus takes the necessary time to develop a launch strategy and build enough devices to manage a full-scale launch… without any frustrating invite programs or hour-long sales.
In the meantime, OnePlus has only recently debuted its Lollipop-based OxygenOS platform for the One, so users of the 2014 device should still get plenty of use out of their phones until OnePlus has more to say about the Two.
