The world’s best Windows Phone is now priced to compete with rival flagship smartphones. Microsoft announced on Friday that both it and AT&T have knocked $100 off the Lumia 1020’s price for customers who buy the device through their stores. To sweeten the deal even further, Microsoft says that it will throw in a free Nokia camera grip for the device for a limited time for all customers who buy the phone through a Microsoft store. The Lumia 1020 is an extremely impressive device with an industry-best 41-megapixel PureView camera, but its high $300 price tag has led to mixed reports of early sales so far. In addition to its 41-megapixel camera, the device features a 4.5-inch AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM and Windows Phone 8.
