All of the Moto X+1’s specs just leaked ahead of next month’s announcement

Motorola will finally unveil its next-generation flagship smartphone during an event in Chicago on September 4th. The handset, which is regularly referred to as the “Moto X+1,” will face the steepest imaginable competition following its debut; Samsung is widely expected to unveil its new Galaxy Note 4 one day prior to Motorola’s event, and Apple will take the wraps off of the completely redesigned iPhone 6 just five days after the X+1 debuts.

For Android fans interested in the new Motorola flagship phone, however, it looks like they may be in for a treat.

We have seen various details and specs for the Moto X+1 leak on a number of different occasions, but now it looks like any remaining questions surrounding the handset’s hardware have been answered. As noted on Friday by Droid Life, benchmark test results and hardware details for a Motorola XT1097, which is believed to be the X+1, have been found on popular benchmark site GFX Bench.

According to the site, the Motorola Moto X+1 will feature a 5.2-inch display with full HD 1080p resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 2GB of RAM,16GB of storage, a 12-megapixel camera and Android 4.4.4.
