Creating a device to improve the efficiency of popping open bottles of beer — could anything be more German? OK, so technically the men behind this exciting beer-opening technique are Swiss, but they are speaking German in the video they posted of their creation, so that’s good enough for me. At any rate, YouTube user Christoph Nick has posted a video showing a Swiss man opening five of his friends’ beer bottles at once by using five different rulers that he’s arranged in a star shape within his clenched fist.

Once all his friends have their bottles securely positioned with the bottle caps placed just above the edges of the rulers, he thrusts his fist downward with a quick motion that opens up every single bottle of beer at once. His friends all react with bro-fisting jubilation, which is exactly how you’d expect them to react.
