With a day to go until Apple unveils the iPhone 6s, an app analytics company has revealed some interesting stats about the company’s 2014 flagship device that broke all previous sales records.

DON’T MISS: iPhone 6s: Everything we expect to see in Apple’s next-gen iPhones

According to a report published on Tuesday by Localytics, the iPhone 6 is Apple’s most adopted iPhone model and also has the highest app engagement of any iPhone to date. The iPhone 6 accounts for 30% of all active iPhones, with the iPhone 6 Plus having reached a 9% share of the iPhone market in a year after launch.

Overall the iPhone 6 series has the highest adoption rate in iPhone history, at a combined 39% of all iPhones after a year of sales. That certainly seems to be a considerable challenge for the iPhone 6s family that’s about to be unveiled this year. Reports say that Apple ordered a record number of iPhones for the second half of the year, though some analysts aren’t sure Apple can register a new record quarter this Christmas with the iPhone 6s.

As for the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c duo that launched in 2013, Localytics notes that the two handsets accounted for a combined 33% of the market, with iPhone 5s grabbing 25% and iPhone 5c scoring 25% of the market in their launch year.

Currently, the iPhone 5s has 23.7% of the market, while the iPhone 5 accounts for 12.8% of devices. iPhone 4s, iPhone 5c and iPhone 4 account for 8.8%, 8.5% and 5.3% of the market.

One other major focus area for the iPhone 6 is apps usage. The bigger displays of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus convinced users to engage with apps more than previous devices. The iPhone 6 devices saw more than 15.5 app launches each month, with screen size supposedly being an important growth factor.
