Apple set a new opening weekend sales record with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, which are arguably the biggest iPhone upgrades the world has ever seen. The latest and greatest iPhones look just like last year’s models, as is always the case with “S” iPhones, but inside is an entirely new ballgame. Apple’s 6s lineup is stronger and faster than last year’s iPhones, and there are also a handful of new features Apple introduced to further separate its 2015 iPhone models.

Among those new features, 3D Touch is undoubtedly the star of the show. Now, it’s time to check out all of the best new 3D Touch features Apple’s new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have to offer.

3D Touch is Apple’s name for an enhanced version of the “force touch” feature found on the Apple Watch. In short, a combination of hardware components embedded in the display assembly and new software allows the 6s and 6s Plus to measure how much force is used to tap or swipe the screen. Then, the phone can perform different actions based on how hard the user presses the screen.

We’ve discussed 3D Touch in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus at length here on BGR, but a great little video put together by 9to5Mac does a superb job of showing off all of Apple’s best 3D Touch features in one place. The video is under 4 minutes long, and it’s definitely worth watching for any new or prospective iPhone 6s buyers.
