Sprint is not about to let T-Mobile get away with having the cheapest iPhone 6s payment deal heading into Friday’s big launch. The carrier on Thursday announced that you’ll be able to pick up an iPhone 6s from Sprint on Friday and pay just $1 per month for it, provided you meet certain conditions.

What are those conditions? There are two of them:
- You’ll have to sign up with Sprint’s iPhone Forever leasing program that will let you lease the device for a limited period of time and will then let you upgrade whenever a new iPhone comes out.
- You’ll have to trade in a 16GB iPhone 6 in working condition
The offer will go into effect on Friday morning and will last for “a limited time.” This could mean just about anything, so if you’re hellbent on taking advantage of the deal you should head to your local Sprint store early on Friday.
You can also trade in an iPhone 6 and lease a 64GB iPhone 6s for $5.77 a month or a 128GB iPhone 6s for $10.53 per month. New and existing customers who don’t have an iPhone 6 can still trade in their other smartphones for the iPhone 6s and pay just $15 per month to lease the new device.
