Early iOS 6 jailbreak released, but only works on three old Apple devices

That was quick! iOS 6.0 has barely been out for 24 hours and there is already a tethered jailbreak for it. The iPhone Dev-Team’s “redsn0w 0.9.13dev4” can now be used to get Cydia and its library of unauthorized apps and system tweaks onto A4-powered devices that include the iPhone 4, iPod touch (fourth-generation) and iPhone 3GS. The jailbreak is a tethered one, though, meaning users will have to connect their iOS devices to a computer every single time they want to reboot them. For most people, a tethered jailbreak is simply unacceptable, but fret not, because there’s an untethered solution in the works.
