InfoSpace’s wonderful location-based search application has been a “must have” on our BlackBerrys since its release a couple months back. What could be better than the current BlackBerry offering, you ask? An iPhone version, of course! We’re pleased to bring you an exclusive look at the new iPhone version of Find It!. This version works pretty similarly to the original ‘Berry software. That is to say, it’s pretty darn good. The only difference, aside from the obvious interface adaptations, is the lack of native GPS support. The BlackBerry version interacts seamlessly with the on board GPS on the BlackBerry 8703 and BlackBerry 8800. The InfoSpace crew has also cooked up a WAP version for you non-iPhone/BlackBerry toting saps, and an improved BlackBerry client is coming by the end of July, with a 2.0 release scheduled for the end of the year. The best part? Like all iPhone apps, this baby is fully usable from any web browser, so feel free to hit the link and give it a test drive. That is, when and if you get your iPhone.
