Infinity Blade for iOS grosses over $1.6 million in four days

In its first four days of availability, Epic Games’ new title Infinity Blade grossed over $1.6 million according to a report. The highly anticipated game launched on December 9th and based on data from Apple’s Game Center, there were over 271,000 different users who played the game as of Sunday evening. Infinity Blade costs $5.99 on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, which means the title grossed well over $1.6 million in less than four days. Infinity Blade is the first Unreal Engine 3-based iOS game and, along with titles like Rage HD, it is helping to usher in a new generation of iOS games. Hit the break for the Infinity Blade trailer.
