Ikea knows Halloween is coming, but that doesn’t mean you have to ignore your furniture-shopping needs, even if you have to go shopping late at night. The company has come out with an interesting new TV ad for Halloween in Singapore, and it’s a chilling homage to a well-known horror movie.

FROM EARLIER: Ikea just ‘fixed’ one of the most annoying things about its furniture

In the short commercial (available below), Ikea adapts a famous scene from Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining that you should be quite familiar with: the Big Wheel scene. But instead of riding through a creepy hotel, a child is simply taking a somewhat scary stroll late at night in an equally creepy empty Ikea store.

However, the horror-themed ad has a happy ending, as Ikea Singapore is simply promoting late-night furniture shopping. The full video is embedded below for your viewing pleasure.
