I’m a few episodes away from finishing the third season of House of Cards, which I haven’t been able to binge-watch like the previous seasons, but I already am one of the many fans who want to see the series live on. Luckily for Frank Underwood’s supporters, Netflix confirmed a fourth season of the show will be released next year, and it will of course star the same Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright duo, Deadline reports.

It’s too early to have an actual premiere date for House of Cards 4, but it’s likely that the new season will debut in the early months of next year. Production is supposed to start this summer in and around Baltimore, the publication says, which is where previous seasons were also filmed.
Underwood’s upcoming battle for the White House will actually coincide with an actual presidential election in the U.S., which could make it even more interesting to watch. And yes, even if you’re like me you haven’t seen the entire third season of the show yet, you should expect Underwood to fight fiercely for the White House next year.
All three House of Cards seasons are currently available on Netflix for your binge-watching pleasure.
(And, obviously, this headline is a joke and you should follow the U.S. presidential election as closely as possible.)
