Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Android smartphone is one of the most hotly anticipated handsets of 2015, particularly because many reports have so far painted a tantilizing picture: the Korean company is ready to offer buyers a brand new design, likely making use of metal and other tricks, instead of iterating on past designs. Specs-wise, the phone is also expected to be an absolute beast, and recently discovered information on Samsung’s site seems to confirm it.

FROM EARLIER: Samsung might do the unthinkable to keep its Galaxy S6 launch on track

Dutch blog TechTastic found a user agent profile on the site for the SM-G920A, the model number that supposedly belongs to the AT&T version of the Galaxy S6.

According to information in the leaked file, the Galaxy S6 should sport a Quad HD display (2560 x 1440 resolution) and a 64-bit processor. Other details aren’t available at this time, and Samsung is yet to confirm that SM-G920 is indeed the model number for the upcoming Galaxy S6 handset.

However, recent reports also claimed the phone will have a 2K display and that it’ll pack 64-bit CPUs from Qualcomm and Samsung. In fact, a rumor from Taiwan said on Thursday that initially, the Galaxy S6 won’t come in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 version, as there are certain overheating issues with the 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chip to be fixed.
