Samsung’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Galaxy S4 flagship smartphone has leaked, just as we expected. The new software brings a variety of minor user interface changes along with all of the benefits KitKat offers over Jelly Bean. What the new update doesn’t bring, unfortunately, is the gorgeous new UI that Samsung is currently working on behind closed doors. As they say, such is life. But new software is still always fun and there is plenty to be gained in Samsung’s KitKat update — but be warned: this is not an official release and by attempting to install it you run the risk of rendering your phone completely useless, should something go wrong.
