The BlackBerry Tour Bold 9650 has received its ceremonial blessing from the FCC according to documents available via the government agency’s website. The newly approved handset is scheduled for a May 23rd release on U.S. wireless provider Sprint and — hopefully — on Verizon shortly thereafter. For those who need a little refresher, the 9650’s stat sheet flows like this: CDMA EV-DO world phone with support for HSPA and UTMS (2100 MHz) networks, Wi-Fi b/g, optical trackpad, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, 512 MB of flash memory, microSDHC support for up to a 32 GB card, 1400 mAhr battery, and BlackBerry OS 5. We’ve got the FCC docs, in all their black and white glory, linked up for you…enjoy!
