From deep-fried Snickers to deep-fried Oreos, there are no shortage of fried food items that don’t quite make much sense. A deep-fried Big Mac, though? Well, we can certainly get behind that.

Foodbeast directs us to a tasty monstrosity that’s undoubtedly as unhealthy as it is delicious. Put together with two meat patties, cheese, and all the rest of the usual Big Mac trimmings, this monstrosity  may be the best food on a stick we’ve seen to date.

This deep-fried Big Mac, undoubtedly a delicacy in some parts of the U.S. (shout-out to Wisconsin), was put together by a crafty and creative chef named Jeremy over at PeepMyEats. Jeremy was kind enough to detail the work that went into creating this beast of a burger. It’s not all that complicated so you might even be able to try it yourself, assuming you have a deep fryer handy.

  1. First you will need to scramble 2 eggs in a bowl
  2. Take your Big Mac n dip it in your eggs, make sure every part of the Big Mac is covered (place toothpick in the Big Mac if you are having trouble keeping it together)
  3. Bread your Big Mac in the Panko crumbs
  4. Repeat steps 2 & 3
  5. Place your breaded Big Mac in the Deep fryer & cook until golden brown

Jeremy was kind enough to put these steps into video form.

And just like that, you’re ready to dig in.

Even if you’re trying to keep it healthy this summer, you should definitely keep this bad boy in mind for any upcoming cheat days you might have.
