With Chromecast turning two this past Friday, Google was feeling festive and announced a rather attractive promotion for both current and prospective users. From now until December 31, Google is offering Chromecast owners a free movie rental (including HD titles) along with 90 days of free music access on Google Play.

While Google has offered similar promotional offers in the past, this is the first time that the aforementioned freebies have been made available at the same time.

Priced at just $35, Chromecast has been a surprising success for Google, with the company having sold over 10 million units in 2014 alone. While certainly not as feature-rich as, say, the Apple TV, $35 is more than a reasonable price for what Chromecast provides.

If you’ve been on the fence about whether or not to purchase a Chromecast, now might be an ideal time to pull the trigger.
