TasteForFree is a directory of free wine tastings throughout the state of California.
With the recent growth and commercialization of California’s wine industry, many wineries, vineyards, and tasting rooms are charging increasing tasting fees while providing poor service.
Luckily, there are still over 180 wineries throughout the state that offer complimentary tastings to visitors. TasteForFree can be used with or without a network connection to find free tastings at wineries near your device’s location or by a standard zip code/city search.
The app provides winery information, average bottle price, number of wines to sample for free, average winery rating based on Yelp! and TripAdvisor reviews, tasting room hours, directions to the tasting room, and any electronic coupon that may be needed for the complimentary tasting.
