Though the Apple Watch will sport a number of interesting features right out of the box, the real value proposition of the device arguably lies with third-party apps. Much how the iPhone user experience was improved exponentially with the advent of the App Store, it stands to reason that the utility of the Apple Watch will only be fully realized once we see what type of magic developers are able to come up with.

With the Apple Watch release now less than two months away, a number of developers have been putting in long hours as they try and get their apps ready to go just in time for launch.
Recently, Wareable reached out to a number of notable indie iOS developers to get their perspective on Apple Watch development and provide some insight as to type of Apple Watch apps we can expect to see in the near future.
Realmac, for instance, currently sells a highly regarded iOS app (dubbed Clear) which offers an intuitive and minimalistic take on tried and true “to-do-list” apps. With respect to an Apple Watch version of Clear, fans of can expect to see the same delicate balance of simplicity and utility they’ve come to enjoy in the iOS app.
Realmac’s Clear fully embraced minimalism well before Apple, cementing itself as a highly regarded, efficient iOS task manager. “And now Clear will bring your to-dos and reminders to Apple Watch, synced via iCloud,” explains product manager Nik Fletcher. “Designed as a quick-recall and easy-to-check-off list, Clear shows all the lists you’ve created, and allows you to complete any task — wherever you are.”
