Apple Pay and other mobile payment services like it represent the future of payments in the United States and elsewhere. We have discussed that future a number of times here on BGR, most recently while covering a nifty new “smart card” called Coin that will soon try to replace every credit and debit card in your wallet while solutions like Apple Pay get off the ground.

It will indeed be some time before Apple Pay is accepted in the majority of stores we visit each day, but Apple Pay is about much more than just retail shopping. We have seen a few novel apps that take advantage of Apple Pay pop up in recent months, and now there’s a new one that iPhone users should definitely check out.

DON’T MISS: I just replaced every credit card in my wallet with Coin

Think of TipEasy as PayPal for Apple Pay. This new app by the like-named company allows users to send money to anyone they choose, but it uses Apple’s secure mobile payment service to make the exchange.

There are two main benefits here. First, it means the recipient of your payment doesn’t need to be set up to accept Apple Pay. This, of course, is Apple Pay’s biggest barrier right now — you can only pay people or businesses that have agreements in place with Apple.

Beyond that, TipEasy doesn’t need to know any of your payment account information. All of that info is already in Apple Pay.

Also of note, the recipient of your payment doesn’t need an iOS device to receive any money you send, because the app works with Android as well.

TipEasy is a free app and the developers behind it confirmed to BGR that TipEasy adds a 1% fee to all money transferred, which is fairly reasonable. The app’s full description can be found below along with links to the iOS App Store and Google Play Android app store.

Tip Easy connects ladies and gentlemen who wish to send a cashless tip or pay a service fee with those individuals who provide amazing service. Users can quickly signup through the app or website. The app is built to protect financial information.

It is beautifully designed to open the application and quickly find who to tip or pay a service fee. Additionally, you can search for a specific person or group to send a tip after the interaction.

Individuals or companies can easily signup to receive tips and service fee through the website.

Tip Easy is meant to inspire appreciation for the little things and make rewarding good service a pleasure.
