We’ve seen plenty of concept art for Apple’s unannounced iWatch over the past few years. Some have been traditional, others fantastical, but the latest mockup by designer Todd Hamilton might be the most attractive concept yet, and it looks completely functional to boot. Taking a cue from another concept by Thomas Bogner, which is described as a mix between a Nike FuelBand and an iPhone, Hamilton has flipped the orientation and fleshed out how the device would function.
On his blog, Hamilton shows off his ideas for the lock screen, contacts, phone calls, a fitness app akin to Fitbit and basically complete iOS 7 integration. He’s even put together a short video that shows his concept watch in action. If the iWatch ends up looking anywhere near as nice as Hamilton’s concept, the wearable market might finally have its flagship device.
