It’s been just hours since the official release of the first iOS 8.3 beta, but the next update for Apple’s latest mobile OS is already well underway. Mark Gurman at 9to5Mac reports that iOS 8.4, codenamed Copper, is set to launch shortly after the release of the Apple Watch in April.

In other words, we’re still a ways out from the release of iOS 8.4, but it might be more substantial than bug fixes and performance enhancements. According to 9to5Mac’s source, Apple will bundle the Beats Music streaming service with the upcoming release, something that has been hinted at for the past several months.
9to5Mac concedes that the major features of 8.4 might simply be carried over into the full iOS 9 release this fall, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see Apple push Beats into the spotlight as soon as it was able to. After all, Beats is reported to be a major part of the iOS Music app when it finally relaunches.
