Google recently released a new version of Lollipop, Android 5.0.1, bringing users several bug fixes in the process. But the company has a more significant upgrade in the works, and just about everything you need to know about it has been revealed in a new leak.

AndroidPit has learned from two trusted sources that Google will release Android 5.1 at some point in the first quarter of 2015. The update might be released by the end of February, according to these unnamed sources.
Even more interestingly, the publication has obtained an early changelog for the upcoming update, revealing all of the key features that are supposed to be included in this upcoming new version of Lollipop, though it’s not clear if the final Android 5.1 changelog will include additional features.

- General improvements in system stability
- Improved RAM management
- Fixes for sudden app closures
- Improved battery management
- Excessive consumption of network devices when used Wi-Fi fixed
