Now, Schumer, already a bonafide star, is ready to make yet another leap forward into mainstream stardom. Getting back to her roots, Schumer will soon be starring in an HBO stand-up special directed by Chris Rock. The trailer for the standup special, which promises to be laugh-out-loud hilarious if history is any indication, was posted by HBO yesterday and can be viewed below.
Though the trailer isn’t terribly long, it shows Schumer delving into the topics she typically tends to gravitate towards during her act — relationships, navigating the maze that is Hollywood etc.
Titled Amy Schumer: Live At The Apollo, the special is scheduled to air on Saturday, October 17 at 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
