The Google (GOOG) Nexus 7 might become an even greater value according to Phandroid. The site posted a screenshot revealing that the 16GB Nexus 7 has been declared “EOL” or “end of life.” This might explain why one customer received a 32GB Nexus 7 instead of the 16GB model he originally ordered. Phandroid says it’s very possible that Google will drop the 16GB Nexus 7 and replace it with the 32GB model without increasing its $249 price. It’s also rumored that Google will finally be adding a 3G-equipped Nexus 7 soon. All we have to say is that this holiday season is going to be packed full of 7-inch tablets to choose from. Amazon (AMZN) has its Kindle Fire HD, Google has its Nexus 7 and Apple (AAPL) is preparing its iPad mini.
