The Golden Globes have come and gone and, well, we’re not sure many people even notices. There are so many awards shows these days that they’re nowhere near as prestigious as they used to be. But if there’s one annual awards ceremony that has stood the test of time and managed to maintain all of the prestige and fanfare of Hollywood’s heyday, it has to be the Oscars.
