Hold on to your hats, folks, this story is a doozy. A $250,000 McLaren recently had its windshield utterly smashed in by a skateboard-toting teenager who didn’t take too kindly to being honked at. And best of all, the crazy sequence events was all captured on video. It’s almost as if the introduction of smartphone video recording has been leading up to this one glorious moment for years.
Here’s how it all went down.

A crispy orange McLaren was cruising down the street when it ran a stop sign every so slightly. In the process, the McLaren veered into a crosswalk which our teenage hero (or villain, depending on your perspective) was legally and appropriately using to cross the street. The driver of the car then honked at the kid, and if you listen closely to the video below, you can hear the driver shouting an expletive or two while demanding that the kid get out of the way.
And that’s when things went bananas. The skateboard-wielding teen then smashed the windshield of the car, cracking and smashing it instantly.
As you might expect, things then got real.
The man in the passenger seat opened up the McLaren’s beautiful butterfly doors as the teenager began to run for his dear life. The chase was on, but alas, we’re not sure if the passenger ever caught up with the kid who, rather impressively, appeared to be running while holding onto his skateboard the entire time.
The video description reads: “I was catching a video of the sunset saw this McLaren run a stop sign and make a kid fall off his skateboard. You can hear the skateboard in the video. The passenger of the McLaren yelled something at him and the next thing I heard was a SMASH! The windshield was completely shattered.”
So what is this, folks? Destruction of property or simply nothing more than savage street justice served up cold?
Naturally, some of the Reddit comments on this video are pure gold. A few examples:
This video has everything: out of view footage of what happened, vertical video and even a shout out to worldstar at the end.
Some say he’s still chasing the skateboarder to this day.
If only this guy was shooting the Kennedy assassination, we would all know what happened.
Horizontal video would have captured the action.
