The sadistic Islamic fundamentalists who run Islamic State are some of the absolute worst people in the world… but that doesn’t mean they can’t have soft spots in their hearts for children. Well, at least when it comes to indoctrinating children into their violent and twisted ideology.

Long War Journal brings us word that Islamic State’s “Library of Zeal” has developed its own Android app to help teach children the Arabic alphabet. But since this is ISIS we’re talking about, the app also teaches children the Arabic words for weapons including tanks, guns and rockets.

FROM EARLIER: The crazy things politicians and reporters have said when they thought the mic was off

“The app has games for memorizing and how to write the Arabic letters in addition to including a nasheed (a cappella Islamic songs) designed to help teach the alphabet,” Long War Journal notes. “The lyrics in the nasheed are littered with jihadist terminology, while other games within the app also include militaristic vocabulary with more common, basic words.”

Sounds like oh-so-much fun, doesn’t it?

ISIS has created Android apps before, in case you don’t recall, but it does seem this is the first one to be targeted exclusively at kids.

Here are some of charming screenshots from the official ISIS Android app for kids:
