Netflix announces premiere dates for 12 original series, including ‘Orange is the New Black’

There’s so much amazing content coming out of Netflix that it can sometimes be hard to keep up. Just when you think you’ve finally managed to binge watch every Netflix original on your radar, the company goes ahead and introduces even more new shows into its growing library of original content. Not only that, but the streaming video giant then tops things off by rolling out new seasons of your existing favorites.

That said, Netflix over the weekend released premiere dates for 11 original shows set to either debut or return over the course of 2016. Netflix delivered the news via a quirky YouTube video consisting of a man with a bow tie rattling off premiere dates in quick succession as if he were an auctioneer.

From the season 2 premiere of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to season 4 of Orange is the New Black, Netflix, per usual, is gearing up for an extremely busy year As we reported previously, Netflix over the next 12 months plans to roll out 29 new original shows and 5 original movies. And that’s not even taking into account it’s already impressive list of returning shows.

As for upcoming shows that now have release dates, here’s what we now know.

Hannibal Buress Comedy Special – February 5

Love – February 19

House of Cards – March 4

Flaked – March 11

The Ranch – April 1

Lost & Found Music Studios – April 1

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Season 2 – April 15

Kong: King of the Apes – April 15

Marseille – May 5

Grace & Frankie: Season 2 – May 6

Orange is the New Black: Season 4 – June 17

Stranger Things – July 15

Word Party – June 3

The Get Down – August 12

The quirky video we mentioned above can be seen below. Over the next few weeks, we can expect Netflix to announce premiere dates for a number of other original shows debuting or returning in 2016.
