Although several of the original Netflix shows have received positive attention from critics and fans alike, none have generated quite as much buzz as the series from Marvel. Both Daredevil and Jessica Jones proved that Marvel’s sensibilities could translate to smaller-scale stories, and now the blind lawyer is set to return to clean up Hell’s Kitchen once again.
DON’T MISS: ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Deadpool’ are just two of the amazing superhero movies of 2016
After debuting trailers for two brand new original series at CES earlier in the week, Netflix published a short teaser for the second season of Daredevil early on Thursday morning. Although there isn’t much action to be found within the trailer, it does give us one tidbit of information we’ve been dying to know: the release date.
Daredevil season 2 will launch on the streaming service on March 18th, 2016.
That’s seven days earlier than the rumored release date of the 25th, so it looks like the showdown between Daredevil and Batman v Superman won’t come to pass after all. It would have been an entertaining conundrum, but now superhero fans can binge watch Daredevil in peace without having to worry about missing any midnight premieres.
Again, there’s no new footage in the teaser, but there are a few clues as to what we should expect in the coming season. You can watch the full teaser below:
