Many reports detailed a third iPhone 6s family member that would sport a 4-inch display and hardware components that would be at least on par with what the iPhone 6 has to offer, if not better. Often called the iPhone 6c, the device would provide buyers looking for smaller iPhones the same high-end experience as the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models and the same build quality. However, not all reports agree as to when Apple will launch the handset, with a leaker saying the iPhone 6c might be launched a lot sooner than you think.

Well-known leaker Evan Blass, who spilled the beans on countless mobile devices long before they became official, said in a short message on Twitter that the iPhone 6c will come faster than believed. “Sounds like iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, and 6c will all arrive concurrently,” he tweeted, implying that the mid-September event will also feature the smaller iPhone 6c.
Others have said that Apple will indeed make a 4-inch new iPhone replace the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, but that the company would launch it at some point in the second quarter of 2016, a rather unusual release window for new iPhones.
Furthermore, Apple has recently updated its iPod touch line, giving its best iPod a significant upgrade that makes it even better than the iPhone 5s. This may also be an indication that an iPhone 6c is coming.
